Polly Leadbetter grew up in western New York, where she visited that state’s Adirondack and Catskill Mountains and Finger Lakes often, and attended Delhi State University of New York. A Real Estate professional since 2002, Polly first discovered Lake James on the internet. She liked what they saw so much that she bought property at Lake James and moved here form Colorado. She earned her real estate license and also became a licensed general contractor in 2002 and she and her business partner, Steve, started Lake James Real Estate and then established Cottonwood Development, a construction and development firm. When she has a chance, she hikes, bikes, swims, boats and camps. Polly is also a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor.
